Calibration en Service Engineer

Who will you be working with?
At Wabtec Netherlands you will be part of a team of enthusiastic and supportive colleagues who embrace your growth and development. The team consists of a number of Calibration (& Service) Engineers and a Line Leader who report to the Manager Repair & Calibration.

How will you make a difference?
As a Calibration and Service Engineer, you are responsible for the Helpdesk and for calibrating and repairing test and measurement equipment from our brand Nieaf-Smitt. Your work includes:

• Calibrating, repairing and packing test and measurement products;
• Performing internal inspections of tools;
• Administrative handling of calibrations and repairs in the ERP system;
• Helpdesk: answering (customer) questions by telephone, such as when the calibration is ready.

What do we want to know from you?
We are looking for a new colleague with good communication skills and a passion for precision. It is important that you speak (and write) Dutch fluently. In addition, it is nice if you already have some experience in calibrating and repairing products, but this is certainly not a requirement, we are happy to train you in this! The condition is that you are interested and would like to learn more about calibration and repair and that you are technically skilled. Finally, you like to think about what can still be improved in the department.
