Sales Manager Services

Key responsibilities:

Manage and develop sales activities of complete Wabtec aftermarket Transit products (all product lines) in The Netherlands.

  • Deliver order intake (with the right margins);
  • Act as Key Account Manager for specific customers clients (e.g. NS);
  • Spot and report market and/or customer trends;
  • Improve the sales coverage and develop growth thru optimized sales knowledge (client mapping, margin review, identified projects/runners, creation of frame agreements, …);
  • Forecast, report and update sales activities thru the company’s tool (salesforce);
  • Prepare and motivate the budget and plan related to your customers;
  • Report and motivate on a monthly basis the results;
  • Manage the back-office for your business (internal);
  • Manage support from other sisco’s and report risks (external);
  • Demonstrate behavioural standards: reliable, collaborative, passionate;
  • Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

Requirements:

  • +5 years of commercial experience in railway;
  • +3 years of experience in sales (KAM);
  • Engineer (electro-mechanical) or equivalent degree;
  • Commercial competences (negotiations, strategic selling, communication/presentation skills, forecasting and reporting);
  • Sector knowledge (railway industry, spare parts and services business in particular);
  • Entrepreneurial mindset;
  • Dutch and English: fluent.
